We had 33 players for this year’s ChaosCon 3 event. Attendees traveled to Ottawa from as far as Southwestern Ontario, South of Montreal, and Northeastern United States to play 5 rounds of Old School.
In total, $1,816 was raised for the Pavilion Food Bank, a small food bank in south Ottawa.
Players vied for damaged stamped basic land prize cards so they could be the envy of their playgroups.
While we originally aimed for 6 rounds, we were pretty confident we would have a clean winner after 5 rounds with 33 attendees.
Thankfully, we had 4 3-0 players going into round 4, which meant a clean winner. Benoit ended up taking it down with a perfect 5-0 record. Congratulations Benoit!
This event would not have been possible without the generosity of our host, the Clocktower Brewpub. A special thanks goes out to those who donated prizes and money to the event.
It is you, the player, who makes or breaks these events, and we are grateful for your enthusiasm and your attendance.
We look forward to seeing you again next year! Tentative date: November 15.
