We had 21 players show up for X-point, a sub-format of Old School. Players were eager to jam brews and popular decks alike.
There was a good share of Mono Red decks, many of whom were looking to lock out greedy manabases with Blood Moon.
Many folks ran their tried-and-true favourite colours, just slightly toned down to meet the points requirements for X-point.
Participation at X-point events has shown us that we will make it a regular part of our rotation as we try to more-or-less alternate between X-point and Boreal.
With 21 players, there was a chance at having 2 4-0s. Paul, Pat and Glen went into Round 4 as 3 3-0s.
Glen loses the pair-down and Paul beats Pat Mc to win his first ever monthly. Congratulations Paul!
